"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." β€” Proverbs 3:5-6

There are seasons in life that test our faith. We face unexpected challenges, unanswered prayers, financial struggles, health concerns, broken relationships, or circumstances we never anticipated. In these moments, it can be tempting to rely solely on our own understanding or become discouraged by what we cannot see.

Yet God calls us to trust Him completely. Trusting God does not mean having all the answers. It means believing that He is faithful even when the path ahead is unclear. His plans are greater than our plans, and His timing is always perfect, even when we don't understand it in the moment.

Throughout Scripture, we see examples of God's faithfulness during difficult seasons. Joseph endured years of hardship before seeing God's purpose unfold. David faced trials and uncertainty before becoming king. Ruth walked through loss before experiencing restoration. In every story, God remained present and faithful.

Perhaps you are walking through a difficult season right now. Take comfort in knowing that God sees you, loves you, and is working behind the scenes for your good. What feels like a setback today may become part of a greater testimony tomorrow.

Do not lose heart. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep placing one foot in front of the other. The same God who has carried you before will carry you again.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

When I cannot see the way forward, help me trust in You. Give me peace in the uncertainty and strength for each day. Remind me that You are working all things together for good and that Your plans for my life are filled with hope. Help me walk by faith and not by sight, knowing that You are always with me.

Amen.
